United States Ambassador to India Timothy J. Roemer And his wife Sally won the heart of Patnaites when the US official chose to drive a rickshaw on Bailey Road and mingle with a children of primary school in Dujra on Friday.
Roemer, who is on a 2-day trip to Bihar, said that his trip to the state was very enchanting and gave him an opportunity to learn a lot about the state, its people, the problems being faced by it, and the strives made under the current administration."People of Bihar are very hard working and receptive to changes taking place in the world. Even President Barack Obama is very impressed with Bihar and is keen on helping the state in any way possible to put it at par with other developed states," the Ambassador said.
