Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi thanked Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan for accepting the proposal of becoming the brand ambassador of Gujarat tourism.

Bachchan will now be seen promoting the western state through commercials and will also promote the beauty of Gujarat through his personal Twitter profile.

Modi wrote on his twitter profile, "Met Amitabh Bachchan ji. Glad to know he is very happy with the love people of Gujarat have given him(sic)."

He added, "Even in future, Amitabh ji has offered to give as much time as needed to promote tourism in Gujarat(sic)."
