Kapil Sibal to censorship online content

India’s communication minister is to sensor online content. He has been meeting with Facebook, Twitter and Orkut officials to control objectionable pictures being posted on their sites by users. These pictures are mainly photos of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi or Manmohan Singh where they are seen dancing, holding hands etc. The social networking sites such as the ones mentioned above however neither provided a solution nor remove the content. Do you think he should try to remove poverty, corruption, pollution, starvation, unemployment and not waste his time checking social networking sites and censoring its content?

after Anna movement and uprising in Egypt the government is trying to gain control of media. There are so many news items concerning the powerful persons which have been  blocked by the national media. Now the government is initiating to get control of google and facebook to block information which might be true and are going against people in power.

Objectionable content: Google, Facebook, Yahoo get court summons. What a shame that Kapil Sibil is playing with democratic institutions such as feedom of speech. The Delhi police has already targeted this site by sending an email to remove an image. What next.

Congress party is full of dictators, if given full majority, they will ruin India with their egoistic selfish rules. You can see that even without majority they are ruining India. Sibal is no exception.

A member of the most corrupt government in the history of India, wants to impose 'morals' on Indians? What an irony! I wish Mr. Sibal at least reads the Constitution Of India once before trying out his 'made in China' ideas here. Even the Chinese have not been successful in censoring the internet.

The trouble with politicians is that they want to treat us like animals, a legacy of the British Raj. Gone are the days when they could kick us, beat us, kill us; its pay back time. Unless they do good for the people, the people will not think of them as decent. The whole world is watching Kapil Sibal. If Obama can deal with funny images so why Indian politicians. Shame.
