If you want to do business especially in the Garment industry in Bihar, my 2 cents -

• you should do some extensive study of the middle class thinking, buying patterns
• What different dresses people buy based on age group( Surely we are not just talking about young people!)
• Do the buying patterns show a steep hike/fall during particular period.. say festivals that matter
• Can you show them options and provide an overall service for say marriage - (Maybe hire a model to wear these dresses and show the future bride how pretty she can look !)
• Whats the local mentality when buying clothes. Do people want brand/value for money/cheap goods etc..
• How much cash are they willing to spend.. Can you tie up with Banks (EMI? etc.)

If you believe in the idea, go for it. Whether you succeed or not is another thing. You will atleast not have a regret in life for not having tried something you thought could work.

There are two types of people. One who join the trend and try to make a living. The second category is those who create trend for others to foloe. Decide which one you want to be. \only this lots are super success, and they are called trail blazers.

I am sure fashion has scope in bihar. but has to do some research into this. but as far as I am ware, bihar was never the epicenter of fashion. it has a long way to go. but sure it will get there. I am sure if you start something you will be given the credit of initiating the process.

yes bihari people can embrace fashion,bihari people become concious about fashion,you going right ,keep it up.

Rachna ji, please do something for dhoti and saari wearing people of our state. Design something that does not require 5 metres long cloth. Say two metre long saari and dhoti

I think if you want to do something in fashion then Bombay is the place you should go. I have not heard of bihar as a place where fashion can be appriociated.

I think various t-shirts with various quotations.. also could be a path for entrance .because just stitching and a little bit of embroidery if u are thinking then u will not be having a far fetching business...
