Dev Anand, India’s Gregory Peck, Is No More
The Evergreen Bollywood Superstar Dev Anand, who ruled the Hindu film industry, during the 50s and the 60s, is no more having breathed his last in London, on December 4. With his death, at the age of 88, the Hindi film industry has lost its Guide. The ‘Gregory Peck of India’ was known for his never-say-die attitude and his infectious enthusiasm for life in general, and cinema in particular.
