I have always been interested in my Bihari identitiy and till today back in Mauritius we still speak Bhojpuri but as time went by creol words have creaped in and sadly as the older gerenation is dying so is the Bhojpuri language. In villages long way back even Mauritian Chinese or Afro-Mauritian spoke Bhojpuri but those days are fast gone.
