Umendra Dwivediji makes good points. However, I do not have any problem locating the airport in Nalanda as long as there are highway and fast rail connections to major tourist places within Bihar. Thanks for informing about Bikram assuming it is Bikram Ganj that he is talking about.
"I recently visited Patna and flew couple of times in and out of Patna Airport. I support the effort to see that it becomes an international airport, however, before it gains that status Patna should develop the infrastructure to move people fast to…"

"I am originally from Sasaram which is now Rohtas district. I am as much Bhojpuriya as any body so please do not limit Bhojpuriyas to Arrah District only. Yes, when I was in India Arrah was also my district but today Arrah has split into Bhojpur,…"

First of all, greetings and best wishes to you and family. While surfing on youbihar, I came across your reply to one member and certainly, even though you have left India since 1964, you know very well the history/Geography of Arrah District/Bhojpur very well and I need your help and advise.
I am a Mauritian, born in Mauritius, living currently in Mauritius. My ancestor, that is, my great great grandfather, came from Bihar in June 1858. According to records available in Mauritius, as recorded in June 1858, he arrived by Ship in Mauritius on 07 June 1858, and he was from Village: Nurunjempore; Zillah: Arrah; and pergunnah: Bhojepore. I have done some internet search and someone told me that: Nurunjempore is written as Niranjanpur today. Ok, that's made sense. However, I have found 6 Niranjanpur's. Two in Buxar District, Two in Rohtas District, one in Kaimur District and One in Jehanabad District. How to elimate? Jehanabad District was never part of Arrah District. Am I right? Had Kaimur ever been part of Bhojepore Sub-District of 1858? I just want to know my ancestral village and hopefully visit it in the futur. I have never been to India or Bihar. I would appreciate whatever help/advice you can give me.
I can be,also, contacted on: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your prompt response. I would still like to know more about the Justice sinha family of Chramanpur, assuming that is not asking too much. Incidently, my wife's maternal grand parents (Baldew Sarma, younger brother of veteran Ram Awtar Sarma of Patna University) lived in a house behind Sinha library in Patna and my wife was born there. I have actually visited the place myself back in 1955 when I was visiting my elder brother who had just joined B N College.
