Trying to redefine my roots.
Being from the confused generation was never my fault. Getting away from my culture is. After having lived in places as far as pondicherry to bangalore to ahmedabad to delhi to diu in such a short span of time, I have had the privilege of comparing places and cultures. And needless to say, I find Bihari people the most helpful and honest.
Patna- my birthplace still excites me. My family keeps me making trips to bihar at least once every two months. My bachelors in IIT Kharagpur has taught me a lot about living away from home all these four years, and my aim of doing management from one of the IIMs futher promises some more 'living aways'. I still dunno whether I wud settle back in Patna after completing my management. Gotta be practical, you know. Have miles to go before I sleep.
But my heart resides in Bihar. And I try to appreciate my culture, as far as I can. And I wish to invest something in Bihar after I get settled and have enough money. I know there are a lot of things I can do for my Bihar. An ardent litti lover, and great fan of the chhath geets, I also admire metallica and pink floyd. Am here to meet some other bihari people who think like me and can appreciate my feelings.
