It's nice but no active/regular members are here ...the moderator needs to look into this and promote the page among all youth of Bihar...

State government or at least Nitish Kumar probably is, but  just short of joining the site. The site does need to be promoted a little, please do your part by sending invites to friends/family.

YouBihar needs to get the right attention in "media" to attract people. When I say media, I just don't mean television or radio.. I mean youtube.. facebook.. etc. There must be thousands of Biharis out there who are just not aware of this forum.. With greater participation we could get greater ideas..

Who knows, one day the "state government" might start monitoring the forums :-)

Doct sahab tallented one comes from Punjab Haryana south indian Delhi kolkata Assam Gujrat Mumbai background not from Bhojpuri or Patna. Here artists does Nagin dace on Bhojpuriya pattern. They understand English and Hindi/Punjabi are useless.Truely Bhojpuri visions harming badly Image of a great state Bihar.unfortunatly All picture halls busy in showing rikshaw thela films not holly bolly films

Thank you for input Gaurav Ji. Why go to high end singers ? There are lot more waiting to be discovered. Look for budding music composers and lyricists. Forget dual meaning songs and what you get in shops. Think new, think original and think of artists waiting for a chance. Pick them up, create something new.

Doct sahab Best wishes for you if you going to produce again cheap albums along with inefficient poor illitrate singers composer mixers and writers.Because Sonu nigam charge more than 10 lakh.A handsome amnts charged by and branded one because they deserve for this.We all NRB HAVE BEEN VERY MUCH AWKWARD OF THIS BHOJPURI SONGS AND FILM STANDARDS.That target only rikshaw and thela people.

Gaurav ji, you weild influence either by power or money or both combined. When you are rich, powerful, everybody repect you. When you are seen driving a Maruti Alto, you are nobody. When people see you driving a Mercedes, you make people's head turn with respect and admiration. Make Bihar and Bihari powerful and rich. Then every Indian will make a beeline to Bihar to learn Bhojpuri. If the cost of producing a Bhojpuri album is only Rs, 25000/- then I might consider producing two - three album on my next visit to Bihar.

Government mustnt appreciate Bhojpuri media cheapness.
Gaurav Gupta Comment by Gaurav Gupta on September 14, 2011 at 7:34pm
wow doct sahab you dont love to comment in Hindi.you never ready to accept increasing impact of mothertounge across globe.Any way i was talking about Bhojpuri song or Bhojpuri films that havent a good standard to recognise.Bhojpuri media materials are cheapest in all aspect. These things are means of looking down to Bhojpuri world.Everybody castigate bhojpuri from behind because of cheapness in all aspect. whether that is content script artist or equipts. Can you imagine how much a bhojpuri album cost to produce approx Rs.25000.While a punjabi album costs upto 1 crore.see the difference.Where is pride.Worlds cheapest Bhojpuri market has.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Comment by Dr. Ajay Kumar on September 13, 2011 at 11:23pm
Bhojpuri is one of the most beautiful dialect of India. Instead of taking pride in speaking this dialect, please do not try to castigate and demean it. Speak with pride and speak everywhere with head held high. Speak no other dialect but Bhojpuri outside Bihar and force others to learn it. How funny and strange that Bihari take pride in late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Ex-President of India, but feel ashamed of the dialect he spoke.
Gaurav Gupta Comment by Gaurav Gupta on September 13, 2011 at 11:02pm
Remove Bhojpuri and all contents. This third class cheap standard harmed image of Bihar more than jungalraj.Bhojpuri standards are abused everywhere.

Reporting from Ralegan Siddhi, India—

Suman Gaikwad's husband had a drinking problem, as did many other farmers in this small village where, in the late 1970s, dozens of shops sold fruit wine and other home brews. Back then, domestic abuse was common and families went hungry if their men diverted money to buy booze and cigarettes.
