Bihar capital of Patna does not have proper road and drainage system. Even most of the people shit on the railway track side or in the open fields. Most of the kids donot go to school due lack of facilities. Even there is no proper electricity supply even the post localities of patna have only electricity with high voltage fluctuations. You people come once in 2 years to homeland can't bear little hardships in commuting to your patna or village. Guys join your hands first to make Bihar a good place.

I recently visited Patna and flew couple of times in and out of Patna Airport. I support the effort to see that it becomes an international airport, however, before it gains that status Patna should develop the infrastructure to move people fast to other places in the state of Bihar. This will require a Marshall Plan for Bihar to develop its infrastructure. It is not just the roads or the rail lines which need to develop but also satellite airports which can take people where they want to go without being on the road for hours in the heat, noise and dust that Bihar is famous for. There must also be plans to develop places other towns and places that they become Mecca for tourists.  This will greatly increase the revenue for those municipalities.  Yes, affordable hotels similar to Best Western which are clean and have all the modern amenities such as heater, air conditioning, western toilets etc. will also be necessary.

Bihta, Patna or otherwise we really need to have an international airport. Biharis are in abundant numbers in the Middle East, Europe, USA. International airport is a must for Bihar.

Bhagalpur is already having a airport (though small one) . It could be developed into a midsize airport which could handle atleast 10-12 flights from delhi and other metros. If i remember Shahnawaj Hussain was civil aviation minister during NDA and there was a proposal to build a airport in bhagalpur. If this happens than it will help many NRIs and NRBs who are the natives of bhagalpur, purnia, araria and other districts of bihar which are far from Patna and Gaya Airports.But again it requires a great push from we people. I think we can do this..........

international air port ho jane se hum sabhi ko ko aur apne sube ko kafi fayde honge, ya yun kahen bihar men bahar lani haito international air port bahut hin jaruri hai

Patna is hub of education, it is not less at all from another city like mumbai & delhi. So patna airport should consider as international airport.
