[ Friends we have all forgetten the power of PEN.

 The following open letter is part of my campaign to bring down the Govt of India.]

Dear Bill GatesJi,

Please accept my greetings. I am Neeraj Kumar, a software engineer from the state of Bihar, India.
First of all I would like to thank you for acknowledging the sincere efforts of our CM Mr. Nitish Kumar Ji. It helps.

Bill Gates Ji - Were you serious when you said you love Bihar and will help Bihar?

It would be great if you authorize to start a small but fully functional Software Development Center, in Patna, Bihar.

Why? There are many reasons, but I will list a few here...
1] We have an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bihta, Patna and we can tap the best resources available in India, from there.
2] If Microsoft comes others will follow suit. Wipro, Infosys, TCS ... More jobs, more opportunities for Biharis...
3] This will gradually slow down the Brain-Drain from Bihar, which has hit us more in all these years, than anything else.

Sir, did I foget to mention Agriculture? :)
Well, i did so deliberately. I don't want to be repeatative, so I will just say that this is one area where there are tremendous opportunuties, and the only thing lacking is technology, and willingness of technical people to venture into it. Basically not many want to forego the security and luxury of urban life to explore what lies there. Only if somebody could prove that there is indeed gold hidden there bineath the fertile plains of Bihar, then people will consider it seriously. I am game for it, but right now my priority is to somehow stop the Brain-drain, and bring back jobs to Bihar. So let me just add that I firmly believe that Agriculture is indeed the ultimate tool to bring prosperity to Bihar, but first we need some way to stop the best Bihari brains from leaving the land that they are so proud to belong.
