Why Bombay sucks?

What is the with the city’s name. Is it Bombay or Mumbai. Rename it to BOMBAY because they have too many BOMB blasts. The international business community should dump Maharashtra and come to Bihar for business.

Some reasons why Maharastra and Bombay in particular sucks:

Bombay is the 7th dirtiest place in the world. The place is worse than Mogadishu.

There is hardly any greenery.

Marathis are rude people. Bombayites are not helpful.

Marathi language sucks. Its like someone is banging your head on the wall. They hate who speak Hindi.

They are talking like Mumbai is their country not city.

Too many poor people there. worse than Bihar. there are too many beggars.

There is no clean drinking water. You have to buy your own.

Dawood Ibrahim is from Bombay.

Government of Bombay is feeding terrorist Ajmal Kasab with delicious chicken biryani and gulab jamun while poor children are dying of malnutrition.

Marathi politicians are corrupt. Too many scams coming out from there. People there are too money minded.

They have the largest slum in the world. Something to be proud of for them.

After every terror attack they don’t learn their lessons. everyone is back to work the next day as if nothing happened. they call it the spirit of bombay. I call bullshit.

Too much pollution. Breathing 1 day in Bombay is like smoking 20 bidis a day.

Marathis are racists. Sometimes they attack muslims, sometime gujratis, sometimes, tamils and now biharis.

Too many hafta, supari, rangdari, mamugiri etc. You never know who might stab you.

Bombay girls have no sense of style.

Bombay sucks big time...

Very interesting. Some of which is true indeed. Its definitely a polluted city with huge sanitation problem. Delhi is now the fashion centre and not Mumbai.

Most of your points are almost correct. After all these sheet they will feel proud that we are from Mumbai. No prob u feel proud but don't see other ppl are country less than you.

Humne jo school college me padha hai wahi bat karte hain..If we say Aaalo, Pyaz or Anda to hum ganwar ho gaye..... aur wo Batata, kanda or Baida bole to wo smart hahahah maine to aaj tak koi book me ye naam nahi suney..

Rohini, I have never visited India, but my wife and children have visited Bombay. They said that Bombay is very polutted and some area are very dirty. It seems what you wrote is correct from what I heard about Bombay. Central Indian govertment, State Government, Local Authority, NGO's, religious organisations and the people in general must play their roles to make the life of the people, especially the poors, better, comfortable, healthier. Education has also a role to play. Put the people of Bombay first, before any other consideration. Bombay deserves better than this.

what can I take from your presented facts. do you want to give the same consideration to them as the politicians are doing? the facts also shows that we are racist. don't do this at list for the sake of our India's integrity. still many places are there in India where Biharis has been hurt. and many places in world where Indians has been hurt. there are still many good things in Mumbai, which contributes a lot more to our country and the people. there are two aspects of a coin. bomb blasts are going on but we should not take this events like its our turn now.

Reality has been described but a bit of thakre type approach is there,lets try to make our Bihar better than Mumbai. The things aforesaid are side effect of development also.Our comment will be effective only when we dont get things done in mumbaia manner.

Indeed Mumbai is not a place one would like to live. Pollution and dirt is everywhere. Mumbai is hell on earth. Plus you have terrorists like Raj Thakra terrorising poor people living and enjoying government protection.
