It is individual who is respected on account of his speech, character, accomplishment, dealings, honesty and credibility. Mass of people be they Bihari, American, British, German, Swiss or French will never ever command respect.

This thing must be understood. We don;t respect an entire village and every villager simply because Sri. Dharti Pakar Singh is a nice, honest man never speak lies, is helpful to others and modest and humble. That does not happen. So it is futile to debate why Biharis are not respected.

i'm not agreed with u that the bihar hv'nt anything to show off. they have a lot of knowledge,ideas and mile stone for showing the world. e.g. super30 is a organisation which provide IIT education in patna,& recorded best education institution in fobers magazine.

Sam Uncle,

The time will come when all Biharis will be proud of Bihar. Be it after 10 years 0r 20 years. No part of the world can remain in darkness, underdevelopment and under the curse of social evils for eternity. History is the witness and time will be the test of all these dramas and social upheavals.

Never ever I have felt that since I am a Bihari people will not respect me. All good, honest and deserving people get due respect and attention that they deserve. Respect is what you deserve and u cannot force upon anybody to get that.

Only respectable people give respect to others be it Biharis or anybody. 

There are reasons why people from Bihar don't get equal treatment:

This situation has come into picture because most of us right from labor class to top most educated people have moved out of Bihar to other states. Since we are far better than them in intelligence and management skills we have grabbed their opportunities in all spheres right from BA, MBA, CA, IT and jobs as well. This makes them jealous, apprehensive and insecure. This is the reason we r not treated on par.

Now the question comes about labor class. They are not respected in any part of the country whichever region thhey belong.

 

In India the visible picture is that there is a cast and regional war. However in reality there is no cast or regionalism war. Here there is a war/difference and battle of class, existence, survival, security, safety and sustainability. And in this struggle people opt for all manipulations and social, political and cultural discriminations.

CHALU, yaar jaraa Hindi mey likh, teri Angrezi aisee hai ki tuney eski taang tor di hai. Kucch samajh mey nahi aataa ki tu kahnaa kyaa chahtaa hai.

Anyways,coming to the subject Of-course its RESPECT,its not the same respect that you give to the age,its for the Respect for what you are.Its respect for your HONESTY, CHARACTER,INTELLIGENCE, PERSONALITY, CULTURE,SOCIETY,LIFE STYLE & many more things.

You neither lose all this because one is Bihari nor you gain because your something else.It all depends on the individual.All that mentioned above are GOOD QUALITIES & they do not come easy to any body.On ehas to strive for all this and all those who strive for these qualities they earn everybody's RESPECT.

Reply posted by our young Bihari Bhai log about their jaundiced world view, history and current affairs is straight out of a paan walaa shop or a Chai stall shop.

Is it any wonder they are butt of jokw and scorned all over India ?

I found youngsters in west and south have very different world view, very pragmatic, contemporary and in keeping with the rest of the world.

Perhaps it is because of living in a remote place like our Bihar.

Get out, see the world and then talk.

You are contradicting here. Mr. Munna. What I mention about. US is fact and not view of so called genius american. Anyway anyone who does not protect the motherland or respect it have no right to exist. I can guarantee no country on this planet is free from evil and US is no different. Anyway respect is won by people be it Bihari, Bangali or Madrasi and place does not any difference.
