Why are Biharis so arrogant and selfish?

We Biharis should look at our actions sometimes. We eat pan and gutkha and then spit on the road, we honk the horn like crazy even when the car in front of us is driving in good speed. We honk even louder instead of slowing down when we see an old man crossing the streets. We start to cross the road in the middle of oncoming traffic. We try to cut the queue and reach the ticket counter even though there are other people waiting for their turn. At functions, we fill our plates up to the brim like there is no tomorrow and even leave half of it oblivious of the fact that some guests might not even get anything, and also knowing that some poor Bihari children will be going to sleep with empty stomach.

Oh this one is good, why do Bihari men stare at girls. How many of us smile to our neighbours (whom we dont know personally)? How many of us say thankyou to the guy at the petrol pump or who cleans the toilet or to the waiter who serves us?

Yeah I know people blame it on population and stuff, but come on you can still be nice. This is not a population problem, this who we are as Biharis are. Why we Biharis like this.

we need to ponder on this this. we need to think hard and come out with reasons. come on guys dig deeper into this. are biharis selfish compared to the rest of Indians.

Being new to this site and Bihar, all this are very unsettling. I think I will talk again to my Mum and Dad. I'll show them this site and ask their opinion.

Madam, you left few more important things that distinguishes us as Biharis from rest of Indians.

1. With water full of Lota in front, we squat everywhere and defaecate.

2. We urinate wherever we like, in any posture we feel comfortable to do so in full view of all and sundries.

3. We stab our fellow Biharis in the back.

4. We are master of pulling down any Bihari who is doing well in life.

5. We worship reservation, mediocrity, shifaaris,

6. We are master of seeing opposit of everything, Lies become truth, truth becomes lie.

7. At the drop of the hat, we love to get brainwashed and begin to hallucinate

8. We miss no opportunity to con, fleece others, especially Biharis.

9. We can neither write correct Hindi nor correct English, yet we consider ourselves highly educated

10. We can't stand Non Resident Biharis. We consider them idiots, but ourselves the most clever.

We Biharis are neither arrogant nor selfish. Some of the traits you have mentioned are typical of most Indians. We are compassionate people and respectful to others. We are humble and kind. Yes we do have our drawbacks but it would be wrong for us to generalise. This type of stereotyping and prejudice is not fair.

Ye to thik hai ki pan kha k thukte hai uncultured hai
Lekin ek dusre ki tang khich k khus hona aur jalan khori k sachin tendulkar ya major dhyanchand kyu bane pade hai Bihari log.Bihar me log ek dusre ko dekh dekh khub jalte hai kya bat hai bhai ! Mujhe bhi to dekhiye kitne ache ache idea deta hu mai youbihar pe aur jalta bhi nahi ha ha Akhir mai bhi Bihari hu na to mai arrogant hu na selfish.
Aj to apna chhotu kahi gaya hai nai to wo bhi achi achi manoranjak bate bolta hai.
