Govt. is imposing its view that parliament is supreme in India like United Kngdom in the context of 'Janlokpal bill' of Anna hazare. Is really parliament supreme in India? It means once we elect politicians and they go to parliament or state assemblies, become supreme like dictators! Govt. says that they have recommended public opinion to create anti-corruption watchdog after 64 years of independence! There are numerous problmes in our country apart from corruption e.g. Regionalism (in context of Raj Thakre), Religionalism(in contect of Rammandir, riots in gujarat), Naxalism, unwise reservation policy, many other social problems which make exisitng laws insufficient to do justice...............then by when our supreme parliament will enact strong required lagislation in above areas so that common man could feel protected in own country or again person like Anna hazzare need tobe born to go for hunger strike or agitation to bring required changes in our system.

Permalink Reply by Gaurav Gupta on August 23, 2011 at 2:54pm yes janlokpal is truely very much need of time.otherwise Anarchism will spread.you are right pathak jiIf public is suprem then they must demands lagislation as per their requirement, elected members of parliament have forgotten their duty and thereby we do not need them any more. They have failed to protect common people, instead they have become 'bhakchhak'.
