What is your openion about the BHOJPURI language after reading my blog ?

Why do the people feel shame to speak bhojpuri when they are out of home ?

I have noticed this kind of act in our Bihar & U.P.

I am in Saudi Arabia & we always find the Bhojpuriya people to take the taste of our sweetness of Bhojpuri language. If you are a Bhojpuriya person & you are leaving your country then you would feel the importance of bhojpuri. When You will be always around the foriegn languages English, even our sauth Indian people (kerla,Tamilnadu,Andhra pradesh,Karnatka) will talk with each other in their native language, Then also you wil miss your native Bhojpuri..

Let me introduce to you about the BHOJPURI language........

The Bhojpuri Language of Bihar is the third largest Indian language spoken outside India. The Bhojpuri language covers a large geographic area crossing state boundaries. Other than Bihar, the language is spoken in the North West part of Jharkhand (that was part of Bihar once), the Purvanchal or eastern part of Uttar Pradesh along with the adjoining area of southern plains of Nepal. Outside India, Bhojpuri is spoken in spoken in Guyana, Suriname, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago and Mauritius. These are the places where the Bihari community migrated in vast numbers during the British rule to work in sugar plantations.

For the first time in the history of the Bhojpuri language it is being noticed. From the coming of popular singers such as Bharat sharma, Manoj tiwari, Kalpana, Pawan singh that has made Bhojpuri almost a household name. Hindi film makers are now considering adding Bhojpuri item songs to attract the vast Bhojpuri speaking community.

In addition, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to launch a foundation course in the Bhojpuri language. The course was inaugurated by Indian Parliament speaker Meira Kumar (also from Bihar). She added that "Bhojpuri is not only a language but a lifestyle and a culture. Sanskrit and Latin have most precise grammar and vocabulary. Bhojpuri too has a very precise grammar, rich vocabulary and literature". Although the course is aimed at Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, it is thought that the course might be useful to Bhojpuri speakers in places such as Mauritius. Soon the establishment will be starting Certificate and Diploma Courses in Bhojpuri.

Bhojpuri is not only spoken by Rickshawalas and Bhajiwallah and neither it is language of uncivilised like you. . It depends on whom you mingle with. If you mingle with illiterate, uncouth and uncivilised then you will have that kind of impression. Bhojpuri is language of ..

One Bjojpuri speaker (V S Naipaul) has already won Nobel Prize but unfortunately, he is non native Bihari now, but his brother Shiv Naipaul still visit Bihar and doing some social work in Bihar.....

Don't forget our very own Dr. Ajay Kumar, the elder member of youbihar and a high achiever. Remember too, our Mauritius brothers. Although not a Bhojpuri speaker myself, I enjoy listening to my Bhojpuri speaking friends.

Yes mam, so many regioanal languages are spoken in bihar & u.p but here my concern is about bhojpuri to bhojpuriya people......

@Randhir Mishra: If you don't know then don't bring it from your dreem because you will be wrong. Here I have tried to bring the attention of educated bhojpuriya people to improve the condition of bhojpuri not for your comment on recent bhojpuri movies.

No any language can be evaluated on the base of its movies & videos. If your answer is YES then first u should hate English langauge because most of pornographic movies are made in english. Why are we watching hollywood's movies which includes a lot of hot scene........others scenes u can imagine what we are watching in hoolywood's movies and some people like you tell proudly to increase their status- I don't like Hindi movies, only hollywood..... If you want I'll send you some short scenes of tamil and malyalam movies also.........

Let's come on hindi movies.....Did u see new hindi film of Imran khan "Delhi Belly"?? If did not then go and see to listen 100 abusive words(directly Maa, beti, Bahan ki galiyaan) some more which you might never heard & some ashamed bedroom & toilet scenes. The previous list of some rubish hindi movies r endless like murder, zisham even old movies like bobby, ........ Can u see it with your family???

It is happening in india because we are accepting western culture to raise our standard and leaving our customs with saying illitrate, uncouth, uncivil.............

U did never try to read the books of Bhikahri thakur who was shakespear of Bhojpuri litrature, songs of bihar kokila sharda sinha, Devi & old bhojpuri movies Ganga kinare mora gaon, balam pardeshiya, ganga maiya tohe chunari chadaibo, piya rakhiha senurwa ke laaz............but it's not your fault, it's a human nature that our attraction or vision go to bad things easily insted of good things.

I'm also against the bhojpuri vulgar movies which are being prepared by south indian producers to make money........

Yeh bhojpuri tab ki bhasa hai jub duniya mein filmon ka naam-o-nishan nahi tha....toh aap ese filmon ki taraju pe mat tauliye........

I never say that bhojpuri is spoken all around the bihar but wherever it is spoken, some improvement must be made so that nobody can make unaceptable comment on bhojpuriya. Bhojpuri is spoken in Chapra, siwan, gopalganj, aara, betiah, champaran, motihari, baxar, baliaa, deoria, kushinagar, aazamgarh, sidharthnagar, santkabirnagar & some part of gorakhpur....etc....

One of our bhojpuriaa man from kushinagr has won the "ONE CRORE" in a reality show on mahuaa chainal hosted by shatrughan sinha 'ke bani karorepati'. see in this news..............

Even educated guys are shy of conversing in Bhojpuri in public, while a Gujrati, Tamilian or a Marathi will effortlessly and proudly will speak their languages.It's stereotype that a language carries makes it acceptable, lovable, respectable or despicable.
