These silly Biharis are nothing but disgrace to us decent, cultured and civilised Biharis. What makes me wonder is how and why they are loterated. I would would have  assumed that the very first abusive post would have been sufficient to throw them out of this site. But they are loterated. Sometimes I wonder if it is worthwhile to be in the company of such people ?

In past few days, there has been some welcome steps taken by our beloved owner of this site, Shalu Bahen ji. A few unwanted, rude and despicable characters have been thrown out from this site. Sabir Saheb, I congratulate you on taking up this matter.

These despicable characters, delight in personal abuse and are too quick to open their stupid mouth on every subject under the sun. Dare I say, it is our Bihari characteristic. We do not know how to keep our mouth shut. Remember, silence convey 1000 words. Opening mouth reveals everything not only about us but our father, mother, brothers and sisters, our family and family background. This, these juvenile delinquent do not understand. They become members by using fake profiles wth or without photographs. What is most despicable act of theirs is the way they behave with our female members. No civilised person of good family background will do that. To do that one tells us that they come from lowest of the low, gutter type family background.

So, let us make sure that this youbihar site is not hijacked by these anti-social elements. I can understand owner of this site to increase membership number. For it brings advertisements and make sound economic sense. But we as subscribers have our duty too, to see that unwanted elements are not allowed here to insult and humiliate us. We are here for sharing our thoughts. We are not here to be insulted and humiliated.

I hope I have managed to pass my thoughts across to all and hope you all will agree with what I have said.

Bhojpuri bahut hi sunder dialect hai. Mainey bhi bolna seekha. Dilip Kumar ji ney film "Gunga-Jamuna" mey kitnaa accha Bhojpuri bola tha. Aakir yes bhasha Raja Bhoj ney hi to eezaad ki thi.

Indeed Bhojpuri is a great language. Unwanted elements will always be removed if they cross the limits of decency. We should never tolerate unruly behavior specially towards females. Thanks for your support.

No language is good or bad.It's people who speak it makes it look good or bad.I don't know bhojpuri, but a general perception about this language is that it's spoken by illiterate ,uncouth, uncivil Bhaiyaas (Bihari and UP wallahs).And mind you its people who speak it have given it this image and perception. I don't know if I am right person to critique on the Bhojpuri cinema as I have never seen any Bhojpuri movie, and don't wish to in future.The movie posters are enough to put you off.Whatever little I have known about Bhojpuri music is largely on this site where people upload some very ugly, nonsensical and vulgar videos.Look at the dimwit, vulgar movies and risque numbers they churn out in bhojpuri. Here In Mumbai people understand that these are "Bhaiyya Movies"- movies of and for rickshawwallas, bhajiwallahs etc.So, the crux of the matter is that your language (communication, through your movies, songs, literature etc) earns a positive or negative perception about people who represent it.

Even educated guys are shy of conversing in Bhojpuri in public, while a Gujrati, Tamilian or a Marathi will effortlessly and proudly will speak their languages.It's stereotype that a language carries makes it acceptable, lovable, respectable or despicable.
