Sugar mills-1 of the highest employment generator?

States with Highest Sugar Mills in India

Maharashtra is the First State with Highest Sugar Mills in India with the number of 195.
Uttar Pradesh is the Second State with Highest Sugar Mills in India with the number of 155.
Karnatka is the Third State with Highest Sugar Mills in India with the number of 58.
Andhara Pradesh is the Fourth State with Highest Sugar Mills in India with the number of 43.
Tamil Nadu is the Fifth State with Highest Sugar Mills in India with the number of 41.
Bihar is the Sixth State with Highest Sugar Mills in India with the number of 28.

With one mill more than 5000 people are employed directly or indirectly. Being one of the largest Agriculture based with the highest fertile land, is being cornnored at Agro-industrialization front. Maharashtra has 195 mills, if Bihar sets up just 100 mills, could employ more than 5 lakhs people. Bihar Govt. must look into it. Demand of sugar is very high in foreign market, Bihar produces best quality of sugar, can do better in business domestically and on International level.

Rohini, Bihar is not up the list, it is down from the list as at the time of British era, Bihar & UP had the largest numbers of Sugar mills, now that is maintained by Maharashtra & UP but not by Bihar. Bihar was second largest having Sugar mills. You can see now also the sugar fatories set intially were damaged or winded up in last 25 years. As population grew in the same number factories should have been set up but on the contrary to that Sugar mills and other industrial establishment have been winded up or destroyed by the policy and weakness of goverment of last 25 years. Now you can understand why Biharis have been mograting to other states for employment.

sure, i think all agro products industries may be success in bihar because we can best use of our resources and fertile lands . this step can not creat any types of disputes in public becouse they can achieve direct profit by the company.
