The Patna Women’s College is the very 1st Women’s College in Bihar that was established in the year 1940, to provide opportunities of higher education to women in Bihar. The aims of the institute is to liberate the Bihari women through education, to give them equal opportunities to bring about social change. It became a constituent unit of Patna University on 2nd January 1952.
