“Pakrauah Shaddi” is so flourising in UP & Bihar….Kalpana.

Singer Kalpana…..classy, sophisticated and attractive… she is the Queen of Bhojpuri music world and truly rules the hearts. She has become the favorites of music lovers with
her tuneful song like “Aila re Aila” (film Khatta Meetha), ‘Ek Ooncha Lamba
Kad’ (film Welcome), ‘Billu Bhayankar’(film Billu) and ‘Hotty Naughty’ (film De
Dana Dan).

After gaining prestigious position as the versatile singer of Bhojpuri films, singer Kalpana has become the favorites of music directors and is the most sought after singer in Bollywood.

This Assamese girl is the darling of the North Indian belt and has been christened the uncrowned BHOJPURI QUEEN.

As Kalpana says, ANTARDWAND is finally releasing. This film got the distinction of bagging the Award for Best Social Issues in the 55th National Filmfare Awards. My mujra song - kaate na jawani hai o more
raja
, in this
film got great applause. This song is the soul of the film.

I am so happy for the moments and proud for such recognition. It is a National Award winning film based on Groom Kidnapping.

As PEEPLI LIVE has brought the focus of Urban India to the issues faced in rural India, in an entertaining
way, ANTARDWAND, too brings to light the social evil that plagues Rural India,
in the mainstream media debate.
 Such forced
marriages wreak huge emotional damage on both the girl and the boy. Kalpana
says, I am more for the voiceless girl who is deeply entrenched in a male
dominated feudalistic society where she has nothing else to fall back on.

Whether deserted or divorced -the life of a hapless girl in such a claustrophobic society becomes a hellish and endless journey. She bears the stigma of 'being married but not married'.

It is a story where everyone involved, pay a heavy price for the ugly patriarchal power play…it’s a society rotting while the country surges ahead to be a global power.

Antardwand is a film that strokes the sensitive, thinking viewer’s ire.
I am so happy for the moments and proud to be part of a film with a
social issue which
peeps into the reality that is mofussil India, a feudal
India refusing to die.

Groom abduction or “Pakrauah Shaddi” is so rampant in Bihar & Eastern UP and is touched upon in Antardwand. The film is  very realistic, well made film, and more ever
it’s a true story, which makes it more interesting….It brings to light that
these unfortunate incidents still happen in India…True stories truly inspires
me more than anything else. The true story in the film should be
highlighted”…This film is getting big thumbs up from the A plus film fraternity
in Bollywood.

When her other film ‘Saanncha’ was selected for The Cannes Film Festival, it added one more feather to her cap and proved a sort of milestone in her artistic career.

In one of her recent interviews Kalpana has confessed herself in these words, "In the beginning of my career as a playback singer, I had been lending my voice to all type of songs for films and
albums, but I had an appetite for art films. This is a must listen song. With
time, my maturity also went on increasing, along with my ambition for singing
for movies which has a message of social cause.

Says Kalpana, these films has burning social problems of the society.

In yet to be released film ‘AAKROSH (Ajay Devgan) on honor killings in UP & Bihar, AAJ BHI’ & PAROKSH singer Kalpana’s voice touches the hearts and is bound to enhance her gifted flair to the peak
of popularity. After her successful World Tour for the promotion of her
International music album- Massical released by Bird Jam Label,Germany with
Trilok Gurtu, singer Kalpana had lend her voice
in the new version of the song on national integration- MILE SUR MERA TUMHARA.

She is busy now days judging SUR SANGRAM-2 in Mahua Tv with Bhojpuri super star Ravi Kishan.

Is this an discussion or an intro of yours??? Pakrauah Shaddi is a past things one hardly hear about such things... if u had to publicize about ur up coming projects u sud hv kept the topic indicating that. HUH wasted my time...
Earlier on I was surprised to see your songs sung in such a fantastic way and especially as because you are a girl from Assam- where the Hindi/Bhojpuri pronunciation is not to perfection. But you really proved that Sangeet ki koi seema nahi hoti. Ek Bihari sampraday ka Asamiya hone ke naate Mujhe AAP par dohra(double) garv hai. Moi jeevanot kalpana karibo para nasilo je ejani Axomia chowaliye Biharor Super star hobo pare. But Kalpana, you really turned my kalpana into reality. I and my family is proud of you...Keep it up!!!!
GOD BLESS YOU
Aur jaha tak Pakrauah Shaadi par jo aap ka comment hai aur ANTARDWAND ke madhyam se jo aapne sandesh dena chaha hai hum iske liye Aapko SALUTE karte hai- JAI AAI AXOM-JAI BIHAR
krishnaji..thanks for the blessings..i m like a daughter to u..I am a very simple girl from a good family ...not a superstar.well be always in touch.
It seems you have no time to participate in his forum. Else, why on earth this blog is drafted in third person? No issues. One can always write on you. But no proxy, please. Its in bad taste. You speak for yourself.
thanks & regards.
What do you mean its in bad taste. Even Kalpana being very busy she comes and posts. You have no right to talk to her like that. What is in bad taste is No "Surname" and no image. This speaks for yourself.
Regards and no offence.
Lets lay the paradigm straight. Celebration of arts, yes. Personality cult, no.

That comment underlined the presentation and not the topic; neither there was something unparliamentary so as to evoke open response. Unlike others, a little restraint in rebuttals would behove the custodian of the forum.

A positive resposne from the author notwithstanding, even letting go is graceful at times.

As for the tastes, views and consistency are important and not my face or surname. They have no bearing on discussions like it doesn’t have of others’ for that matter. This call is against the movement initiated with the vision to build a common character for the state outside the prevailing divides of our society. Lets transcend prejudices.

No offence intended.

Thanks & regards.

Kalpana g, I love your singing & but I never heared something positive or admirable words for bihar from you. PAKRAU SHAADI is a past in Bihar, however pakrau shadi is only headline of ur discussion, you have just tried to attract people by this so that they can read about you.....
There may be better notions on pink. As for hiding, there is nothing worth display.
thanks.

Rohini Sharma said:
Looks like you 2 have something to hide. Mohit, you are gay or something to have pink in your profile. What have you go to hide.
LOL....miss Rohini ur comment reflects ur maturity. Me n my frnds had a good 10 min laugh aftr reading ur comment. One of my frnd(girl) told that it looks like a comment frm a frog living in well(sorry dont mind) but girls or gays dont have any birth right on pink.
And b4 calling names think about ur reaction wen somelse in some discussion tried pasting a name on u.Hope u got the point. I LOVE PINK and many other colors, which r thr on my profile too.My choice. One more thing, in ur profile u have text in blue color sud i also call u something???

N regarding the hidden thing....I had a title few years ago, which was also quite prestigious to have, but i chopped it coz i dont want ppl to have any preconceived notions about me frm my surname before they know me well. Also i hate castism and i guess most surnames represents castes. Anyway i have a surname now too which does not represent any caste but again its my wish to display it or not

Regards and no offence.
(have a nice day)

@Rohini....hi U sud not relate pink wid gay, its just a color afterall and these days in fashion world too guys wear pink. Its the color of love more than gay or girl.
Hahaha...wat a discussion, nothing about the topic, not even by the introducer. And sharma supporting sharma and wid out surname's supporting each other...which way sud i go??? Well my sympathy goes for sharma's, but i guess its no crime to not upload a pic or not write surname.I think the creator does not want to loose a celebrity member...

As far as pink matters...instead of adding anything more i choose to agree wid wat nida told.
