I think it will. Most good food outlets are doing well. There is lot of scope.

I got my MBA from Jabbalpur University , not USA. I got MA in economics from Brown University, New York, USA.

We Bihari people have a different diet habit. We eat Daal - Bhaat. mainly. Being bulk diet, it forces us to run to toilet, outdoor with a lota or indoor to a commode first thing in the morning. A very healthy habit.

Eating fast food will alter our digestive system and lead to constipation.

i think people will go for fast food joint because still in patna people like to stay at home to eat in the night with family. and i think because i am not sure that people will understand the concept of fine dinning. they all are educated but when it comes to fine dinning i think it will not work in patna at this time. so my suggetions for you will be to construct a restaurant which you can modify according to the trend. it means go for fast food and then if there is demand for indian restaurant then open a small area to see that it is working or no. i think that will be better.

fast food will run because people want different taste. i am agree with munna ji that we like to eat daal and bhat but the trend is changing. so u can take a risk to open with fast food. but u have to be very carefull to choose your menu. the food will be according to the bihari palate. if u have any expert in menu desgining that will be better. u can ask me as well or u can ask through your blog. but take the decision what your heart says. because afterall u are goin to invest money.

I think this is a wicked idea.Why not do something like gregs where you sell sausages with chicken in it. what do you say.

sausages in patna, i don think so. it will never run. but if u have to go with this , be carefull. kahin sara paisa dub na jay aise bakwas menu pe.

Bihar ki janta khane peene me mahir hai yaha tak ki Bihar se bahar ghumnewale bhi chahte hai ki wo saari chize unke hometown me available ho jo wo bahar khate hai wese ye apke upar hai ki ap kis range me kya chiz paroste hai apke range me middle class rich class sabhi hone chaahiye.I dont thnk ki patna me apka business flop hone wala hai agar ap bazar ki nabj tatol kar chale to koi problem nahi ayegi but gundo ka fear to hai kyuki Bihar me gundo ka hausla fir se bhadh gaya hai.

It will all depend on advertising and also how good your chef is. If you do something different then it is sure to work. Think of something that no one has done before. There are very good resturants in Patna, like Vasant Vihar, Rajesthan, Even Maurya and Samrat International do good food. So you have to do something different.

yes, all hotels r depended on their management & mainly on the chef. if this two sections r working good, that will do it for hotels in bihar. people has to visit & test that hotels, that will help to know the the response of customers for the point of view of hotels
