To add to Shalu's explanations I would like to update that many of US businessmen and even indirectly George Bush Senior had stakes in Iraque's Oil fields.

Iraq may be free of tyranny but they are not free from bombs. There is no such thing as protecting the innocent or protecting democratic values, the world revolves round OIL. The whole thing is an eyewash.

Gaddafi is not killing in thousands. It is just a figment of the western public's imagination. The western media is under pressure to report fake news about atrocities to justify the no fly zone. There are lots of conflicting reports about what is happening, who's in control and who is killing who. The western media are patriotic unlike the psedo-secular Indian media. The media over there does false propaganda and diverting public opinion. Britain had its budget today and they want something to divert the attention of the people, What better than watching live war on the television, it captures the imagination of the people while forgetting the increasing fuel prices, inflation, unemployment, cuts in spending etc.

I do not know and therefore I can not comment about US businesses and Bush senior owning Iraqi oil. iraqis are not complaining that they have no control over their oil. Not a single Iraqi has said so. So, how can one believe that their oil is in the hands of US and UK ?

The issue is, Arab Spring has led to removal of dictators. In Libya, they are too trying to get rid of Gaddafi, but unlike Mubarak and Ben Ali, Gaddafi used bomber planes and tanks to suppress and kill his own citizens in thousands. Ask people who experienced Emergency rule of Indira and Sanjay Gandhi, what was it like to live in India in those dark days. Reading these comments which is far from real issue, is like listening to people in Muslim world that 9/11 was a Jewish conspiracy and work of Israeli Mossad.

It is not only India,world at large is divided in its opinion on attack on Libiya.There is not desired result out of air strikes conducted by French and British Air Force.

It is also not about the OIL only. It is about the DOUBLE STANDARDS of America,they decide and attack any country.If they want they can declare any country a rouge state.

American spy cum diplomat shoots 2 Pakistanis in Pakistan & America takes him away by paying Blood-Money.They make British Petroleum pay billions for oil spill,but would not ask Union Carbide to pay up in India.They would not allow Anderson to be sent back to India for trials.Then they will preach the world Human Rights.

White house till recently didnt allow any new Oil exploration in the US.They will emit maximum carbon but will ask developing countries like India to guarantee Carbon emission cuts.

It is nothing but American neo-Imperialism.

US and UK has made the whole world in conflicting state. It was they who colonized the whole world. It is they who divided the the world into two poles (Cold war regime). They have been supporting all the governments who listened to them and either sold oil to them or bought weapons from them. Wherever they find opportunities to strengthen their power they have capitalized it.

Examples are many:

1. North Corea & South Corea

2. Israel and Palestine

3. Afganistan

4. Egypt

5. Iraq and Iran (This war was the consequence of America's dual standard - Please go back to history)

6. Even India and Pakistan - Every one of us knows that this bloody America has been living on selling weapons and fighter zets to Pakistan and claims it supports India's stands.

As far as Libya is concerned let the Libyans fight for their rights. All governments are created by public. Public is responsible for the corrupt and inefficient Governments. It is their cause. By taking US's help again Libyan Government will be a puppet of America and not NATO or India. 

 

India is too weak a nation wherever America has its presence or gets into action. Let Indian government and Govt. system first get rid of the evils and corruption infested in it's own root.

If at all there is one inconsistent debator on this site, it is this old man. I am all praise for the stalwarts who still dare to engage and lock horns with this freak. May be, it will take you guys a little longer to come of age following this Tweedledum.

You all would appreciate this proposition if you can take pain to gloss through his stakes all along.

First it has to be the people of the oppressed country to rise up in revolt. Only then someone will do something to help them. that is exactly what is happening in Middle East. And that is why NATO is helping the Libyans who have rose against tyranny of Gaddafi.

Reports are coming that the so called Allied forces to use missiles agains Gaddaffi's forces. Firstly it was the no fly zone and now bombs will be used. What is next, ground troops and the next thing we know its another war.

Most of these dicatators and organisations were in the begining actually funded by the west to suit their needs, its when they turn agains them then they cry foul. Hamas, Al Quida, Taliban, Gadaffi, Saddam Hussain were all propped up to meet the west's demand. These organisations are like our very own LTTE.

There is no need to be anti-American. Without the Americans there would be nothing not even this website. Ram you say he is a namak haram, who do you represent, the leader of fake names and photos. There are many on this site who talk with a fake name and photo. At least some of us has the decency and courage to have our real identity on the site unlike some people.
People would jump on the first opportunity to the USA so I don't understand this anti-Americanism. And why should we care about these people anyway, those seen in the picture are terrorists set out to kill anyway.

Shalu Didi, aap bilkul sahi baat kar rahi hain. Yeh aadmi jo apney ko RAM kah rahaa hai, woh fake hai aur uskaa photo bhi fake hai. Yeh kambakt "GRACEFULLY" ees site ko chor kar jaeyn ge, parantu "GRACEFULLY" baat nahi kar saktey hain. Yehi eenko shikshaa mili hai. Eenkey baat bichaar se eenki nasl saaf pata chal jaata hai ki ye kaun hain. Fake naam aur profile photo se asli chehra aur baat vichaar thorey hi chup jataa hai.
