INDIA AND CENSORSHIP :: ARE THEY COMPATIBLE ?

In a country whose constitution enshrines freedom of expression, how far censorship is compatible insuch a state ? How can one justify censorship. Freedom of expression give right to all who are expressing, at the same time it gives right to those who do not want to become familiar with those topics. Turn the face away, The very existence of Film censor and Information and Broadcasting ministry is a joke in todays world when everything is available on internet and setellite TV.

Isn't Kapil Sibbal making himself look fool and India a laughing stock in the eyes of the world ? What do you all think about it ?

no sonia ji will decide and munnu bhai will recite,
diggyjee will blame RSS
Kapil bhai will blame it on opposition
and Rahul bhai will try to get some vote out of this
coz their deed will objectionable matter on net
Really want more singh sahab who can slap this greedy nerd Sibbal to ground..

Indeed Dr Kumar, thoughts are like water. They will find a way to trickle down to the masses. This is all Kapil Sibal's doing. Being the communication minister he can do what he wants. We refuse to be quite.

Unfortunately he has great powers plus the backing of the "supremo". Unlike Spiderman who leant that "with great powers comes great responsibility", these people lack moral values. He is more like an evil wizard.

What they are trying to do is to take away little bit of freedom we have left. What ever little your freedom of speech you have will be taken away by criminals of India. Truth can be dangerous to a corrupt government. You cannot fight against an idea when it’s time has come.
