How to rebrand Bihar

Other states of India are taking their state forward but where are we heading. Are we actually doing anything about your poor state? What are the things we can do to rebrand our state of Bihar?
Here are some ideas we can do, please feel free to mention some of your ideas. Let’s do some brain storming.


1. We have a good cultural heritage. We must exploit the Buddhist, Jain, Sikh religious places and attract religious tourism. This will increase revenue and boost local economy. It should consider holding summits on religion to boost tourism and awareness of the places in Bihar.

2. We should become a beacon of development for other states to copy. Nitish Kumar has done some good things for the state. We have gone a long way from Lalu raj to at least some hope to recovery. So we should become an ideal economic state for others to follow. It is Gujrat at the moment but we also have some scope.

3. Bihar government is in the process of establishing a new Nalanda university of international reputation. This will come as a good educational centre and a magnet for academics from around all over India.

4. Change the name of Bihar to Magadha and Patna to Patliputra. This will emphasise the past history and Bihar no longer will be a subject of ridicule for other Indians.

5. We should appoint someone as brand ambassador for Bihar. Any names welcome.

Ragini ji kyu bihar k logo ko bewkuf bana rahi hai ya santvana de k kam chalana chahti hai.Aisa lagta hai branding ka matlab apko nahi mulum ya fir bacho jaisi baate kar rahi hai.

I think she's got a point. Branding is important. Look at the USA. The flag of the America is now a symbol. Even Indians can wear something with the American flag on it-tshit, cap you name it. Now who the devil is wearing Indias flag. you might be even get your head kicked in America. So branding is important.

Nothing wrong with doing branding in Mumbai as its all about promoting Bihar. If Bihar wants to attract investment then it must go to the investors.

Kya madam. rebranding ka kya matlab hota hai. what is the meaning of this. how can you rebrand. the image of bihari is not v good. when I go to delhi I get lots of bad looks. we need to improve ourselves then we can rebrand bihar.

hahaha.....cool mere bhai......dikhawa aur pahnava branding hoti to......aaj shirdi k sai maharaj k apni alag brand value nahi rahti.....sai nath ki na to surat achchhi thi na pahnava....phir bhi wo aaj sabhi tirth sthal me sabse jyade kamai kar rahe hain......brand value k bare me upar k kisi v comments me koi dum nahi.....aapka rosh dikha.....ye rosh he hamare bihar ki brand value hai......bas aapke rosh ka aadar kar paye hum....ye meri apni brand value banegi......bas etna he kahna hai....upar sabhi log bachkani baat kar rahe hain....aur kuch to brand value ko dollar me aakne ki koshish kar rahe hain.....!!!!!

Thanks my dear friend Durgesh ji wakai me yaha jo branding aur rebranding ka illusion khada kiya ja raha tha wo samajh se pare hai.
Pahli bat to ye bata du apko ki 'Apni quality ko promote karna chi branding hai aur ham usi chiz ko promote kare jisme quality ho jo ek ideal pahchan bana sake' jab apki branding ho jati hai tab brand value banta hai jisko ap capitalise karte hai.
Yaha to log bina kisi quality k promote karna chahte hai khud ko kewal hawa hawai branding wah typical patna mentality jhar pot k fek fak k khada ho jana wastvik branding k liye bahut kuch kiya jana baki hai jispe dusre bhi kah sake ki haan ye hai Bihar wo aj k zamane k hisab se mana ki Bihar ki history badi rahi hai lekin sirf history k hisab se age badhna thik nahi hai. Mere hisab se branding to tabhi hogi jab har area me quality k kam honge.

nice thought about rebrand of bihar . in my view shuld try to change the bihar and biharis image in other state public. because in other state s person not good thought of biharis and bihar should change it. try to focus all postive thing about bihar and govt tried to make good anf attractive policy of industrial devlopment in bihar.. shoul welcome the industrialist
