Ok - I felt guilty of not answering the question.. so, here is my view on this.

Charm is only a temporary thing. It can work to a certain extent.. but if you want to win someone's heart.. (and this is gender neutral) it should be deeper.. true and honest. I did have my share of failures and success many years ago as a teenager.. and a young man..but, on every such occasion, at that point of time... I truly believed it was LOVE.. which I later realized was not..the case and infatuation..

More than a decade ago.. when I met my now wife.. I knew she was the one.. I could live my whole life with and also the one I couldn't live without.. and I am only glad I took that decision..

I don't know what charms women these days.. but when I was in school/college.. sportsmen.. active participants of musical bands.. geniuses in their academic fields used to have a better chance.. :)
