Agri-business or agro-based business is become risky in Indian and Bihar context as labour has been migrating from rural areas to urban areas for better opporunity, the cost of living has increased due to industrialization, labour has been expensive, water availability is question mark, weather is also not co-operative, banks hesitate to take risks for financing, if they do finance to landlords then expect their money back by any means! Governement only talks for votes but ground work is not done. The basics of agricultural productivity is depending on proper arrangment of irrigation system, good quality of seeds, labour & agricultural machineries, flexible finance/loan, insurance, proper transport system, electricity/power, marketing channel, price support by governement, proper subsidies by governement, good quality of fertilizers and agro-chemicals at cheaper rate, if these things are controlled, managed, arranged, promoted by central & state government then only we can expect green revolution in India and Bihar as a result food items and products based on agriculture can be competitive in world market thereby increase in forex and participation of multinatonal and growth of local companies concerned with agro-based business as result overall growth in terms of forex, local business, employment. There are lots of opportunity in agri/agro-business in india as it is at initial stage of development. If overall development is expected in agricultural areas then everyone related to this sector has to focus seriously and work together keeking their differences aside. Overall development in agricultural field is key to the success of Bihar.

These are only five rivers Burhi Gandak, Bagmati, Adhwara, Kamla & Kosi which always flood Bihar and see their origin all are flowing from Nepal. Rainfall in Bihar does not occure so muh that it can destroy Bihar and its fertile land but there is no major prevention measure which can manage flowing rain water from Nepal to Bihar and other areas. Every year Bihar has to bear the loss of crop, lives of human and animals, property, fertile land, we always feel neglected and destroyed by the hand of political masters as after 60 years of independence so far no major protection measures have been taken for Bihar and we Bihari always put this issue into dustbin, in this way Bihari wealth, property, money, lives are drained year by year but we only blame nature which is not correct at all.
