Very very sad. The Congress party is busy with other things such as scams be it monetary or sexual. It has no time for farmers. Sharad Pawar being the agriculture minister is a sugar baron but has not for the country's farmers.

India is the land of reservations. if the government is trying to help the poor why are you getting upset for. every country helps the needy. it is true that farmers deserve better too.

Since reservation policy in govt. in force, forward class people have become poor and poorer, 20 years back there were lack of opportunities if it all existed all went to so called 'people of Hari', lands cultivation did not work out as price of food grains remain same but price of other essential manufactured goods multiplied which made the people go crazy, flood and drought took lives of thousands of farmers across the country as Bihar was poor state it became poorer and so the people of Bihar, survey and counting BPL famlies did not work out very well, I would say the definition of BPL by Govt. was not worked out properly, such farmers were not taken into this category whose farm yeilds were less than Rs.25,000 and they put up inventment of more than Rs.10,000, so they did get only Rs.15,000 per year if proper farms yeilds come out, in case of flood or drought, even they loose their invetment, so year by year they have no other way but gradually become begger..........Phones and internet do not surve these people, they need proper care otherwise the day is not far Bihar will see a big revolution by farmers........

Dear friends, I would like to put light on the core issue of lives of farmers, I have given some details of earnings of farmers and earnings of wages in industrial and govt. sector and business men, these three types of people can survive as they are moving in pace with modern time as agricultural system has become obsolete although everyone gets their stomach filled three times a day on the cost of hardwok by farmers, modern materials are manufactured by machines whereas food grains in india is solely depend on individual performance of farmers......

Govt. subsidies on fertilizers, education to farmers, intergration of land, cheap buying grains and agricultural commodities by govt. cheaps loans to farmers and insurance, other programmes and plans to earn votes of these innocent... people will not serve the purpose of helping to these people until.......unless intergration and joining all the rivers across the country, making medium and small sizes channels to those areas where water is scare or drought takes place every year, supply of electricity to them, prices of food grains at par with or near by to all the essential commodities e.g. clothings, selters, medicines etc.means buying the food grains at higher price from farmers if at govt. has any free food or subsidies food programmes to their vote banks then all the above subsidies to farmers like cheap loans, insurance against grought or floods, good quality of farmers development centres are not taken into consideration for upliftment of these people........
