Have you been asked this question, “Do you speak Bihari”. The answer to the questions is always No or big NO, I DONT SPEAK BIHARI. I find myself telling them that I speak Hindi and not Bihari at home. Yes we do encounter other languages from Bihar but it does not mean I know how to speak it.

Most of the people speak Hindi with varying dialects. As far as I am aware there are Hindi dialects spoken in Bihar such as Bhojpuri, Maithili, Magahi, Angika and so on but they are not called "Bihari". I have always maintained that there is no such language as Bihari.

Do you get this questions? Do you speak Bihari?

There is no competition between the languages. But lets admit it, if there was one, Hindi will win hands down. The only language of Bihar that most Biharis speak is Hindi.

All the languages of Bihar are great. There is nothing to feel bad about it.

yes you true
