Do you speak Bihari?

Have you been asked this question, “Do you speak Bihari”. The answer to the questions is always No or big NO, I DONT SPEAK BIHARI. I find myself telling them that I speak Hindi and not Bihari at home. Yes we do encounter other languages from Bihar but it does not mean I know how to speak it.  

Most of the people speak Hindi with varying dialects. As far as I am aware there are Hindi dialects spoken in Bihar such as Bhojpuri, Maithili, Magahi, Angika and so on but they are not called "Bihari". I have always maintained that there is no such language as Bihari.

I use to speak Bihari (Magahi) and I feel proud talking in Bihari. Every one should adhere to his tradition. It is good for the society and coming generation. There should be a fusion of traditional and modern culture in our life.

Bihari Hindi is Bihari language. We have a unique style  of speaking  for example Laloo prasd..
