Nitish Kumar is as farce as Laloo Yadav. He has been shouting from the top of his voice of development from all the roof tops of all the houses in Patna. But the ground reality is that there is no development. Nitish Kumar has built a fake image as a man of development. He is a very clever politician who has painstakingly built an image of development but things are now coming out in the open. The only development in Bihar has been security. There have been less kidnappings and murders but the ground reality is that there is hardly any development to talk about.
All Nitish Kumar as done is to kill a few criminals to control law and order, built some roads and bridges, hand-out free bicycles to girls and he wants to claim that Bihar is developing. But the real story is that there is no development. There are no jobs in Bihar, corruption is rampant, we still have to pay bribes, and power situation is as bad as the previous regime. Nothing has been done about the flood situation in Bihar.
Bihar is particularly prone to floods from the major rivers that flow across it. When the flood comes in, he takes a tour from his helicopter and then hands out free blankets. No repair work has been done on the Kosi dams. After the 2008 Bihar flood, why nothing has been done to prevent further deterioration.
The people of Bihar remain completely deluded by the bogus claims of development. The only signs of development are roads. But the people cannot live on or eat the roads. People want jobs, development, industrialisation, growth and opportunities, discipline. Nothing of this is seen in Bihar. Other states are developing at a huge rate than ever before. Yes there has been slow down but developmental progresses in major states are big. But in Bihar, it’s all talk and no action by Shri Nitish Kumar ji.
Castism is still rampant in Bihar. Nothing has been done to bridge the gaps between various factions. All Nitish Kumar has done is helped certain castes. Other castes are languishing in deep rooted poverty that is plaguing Bihar. Neither has he done anything to prevent Biharis being killed or treated badly in other states in India.
Is it time to root out Nitish Kumar and his bogus claims of development? Should Congress party be given a comeback in Bihar if it promises to take Bihar forward? Should BJP be ruling Bihar on its own strength to take Bihar on the path of development? Nitish is a cheap politician without any calibre going after petty gains. His selfish nature and ambition to become the PM is now exposed.
Nitish Kumar has not delivered on his promises. Bihar still lags behind other major states. Bihar is still the poorest state in India.

Permalink Reply by Shalu Sharma on June 23, 2012 at 4:27pm No the development in Bihar is not a farce. Perhaps the development is slow but definitely not a farce. More could have been done.
Onlly blind, diehard Nitish fan, people of very low intelligence, a casteist will say Bihar is developing, while using a pankha in the hand, lighting a kerosin lamp, drinking Bisleri, going to a private doctor, buying his own medicine and sending children to a private school on a rickety condemned bus, on a road full of potholes.
Permalink Reply by Ram Prakash on June 23, 2012 at 5:14pm No there has been good development in bihar. not like gujarat or punjab but there has been steady growth. I am a big fan of nitish kumar. laloo destroyed bihar and nitish did some good work to bring back out pride. with help of BJP he is doing good job. munna lal tum kaun se duniya mei rahte ho.
Friends ....!!!
You all say Bihr is developing. Now tell me how many of you have come back to Bihar after resigning your job because from your post it is quite evident that your heart bleeds for Bihar. I can bet all my fortune that NOT A SINGLE BIHARI< EVEN A LABOURER HAS COME BACK TO BIHAR. Biharis left in Bihar are rejects, incompetent and unemployable. I wouldn't employ anyone Bihari in Bihar in my firm. Either in MUMBAI OFFICE OR BANGALORE OFFICE.
Bhai ji you must be a Kurmi to post such a comment. Same caste as Nitish Kumar.

Permalink Reply by Rohini on June 26, 2012 at 1:16am I am a great fan of nitish kumar. I feel secure when I come to Patna. thats the main concern for us. do you really want laloowa to come to bihar and rule. he will take bihar to the dogs.
Permalink Reply by Shalu Sharma on June 27, 2012 at 1:35pm Unless you are campaigning for the opposition, Nitish Kumar is still the best bet for Bihar's misery.
Permalink Reply by Ram Prakash on June 30, 2012 at 3:33pm I am also getting the feeling that development has slowed down in the second term. Nitish is taking everthing for granted. he must be removed to make way for another chief minister.
Permalink Reply by Shalu Sharma on June 30, 2012 at 4:17pm I think it would be wrong to vote out Nitish Kumar ji. There may be less development in Nitish II but there are no options.
