Crime and criminals all around no body is safe unless.........

Some one along with his friends rapes a girl for a month, she commits suicide, she dies and becomes past. And we the great people of our nation not even give 1 minute and talk a lot about development.Development my foot, who needs such development where a sister,a daughter,a friend,a wife,a mother is raped not by animals or by an enemy but by our own people whom we trust a lot ,on whom we depend a lot.For this also only government is responsible,no for this u ,me and we the people of democratic India is responsible. My tears rolled down and i felt very sorry coz somewhere we r also responsible  for the death or sufferings of such victims. We  r just looking out for development, employment oppurtunity good life style.Friends i need a helping hand  who will join me to stop such hinious crime from our society.I am not asking to make a gang or something like that, but atleast  one should not just let such happening to be a show.

I agree, this kind of crime deserves capital punishment. It breaks my heart to read this kind of soul breaking news.
I have not a great knowledge of justice system in Saudi, but whatever little impression I have, they are true in their doctrine of an eye for an eye. Mr. doctor has took me for words. Simply belittle the culprits of their manhood and we are done.

Common sensitivities apart, our jurisprudence has long transcended beyond revengeful ethics. It believes and acts on the principle of tolerance and correction and not punishment. What is commonly seen as punishment to the culprit is in fact administration of corrective measures to make the convict realise his/her guilt and transform. This is not my personal philosophy but it is the ethos enshrined in our constitution and is certainly the premise of our judicial system.

So, what do we do?

Law will anyway take its due course. But, we the people do condemn such heinous and inhuman act in severest terms. Simply condemning does sound a hollow remark by feeble and meek. Believe me, this is the way to remind ourselves that we are civil society and we don't endorse such barbaric acts. If citizens don't condemn and criticise, it would be a sign of a dead society.

This blog is a call in this direction and members are requested to put their words of support to our collective appeal to the powers that be to take this case to its rightful conclusion at the earliest and impartial manner.
Dear big bro,
The britishers still call us as the species of 3rd world,i do argue with them in support of our nation. But they r not wrong in calling so,its true we r still 2000 yrs back and can never ever become a civilized man of 1st world. If we come in public and start doing something, tomorrow someone will kill us only because we were opposing wrong thing.and for all those dicks who rapes some one there should be a punishment in public, they should never be given to police,Let the people punish such ass holes not the kanoon(blind). And once public fear is created and if public is with good then no one can dare to do any crime...If some one really want sex then there r prostitutes why rape, what they think of themself, they think no one can stop them.I am sorry for using absurd language but such news shake our mental balance. But i am hopeful one day we all will arise against all such crime together.

In today's TOI epaper, there is a news about Digha area in Patna. In Shivpuri, pickpocketing and snatching earings, neckless and chais are rampant day and night, especially near Mamta appartment. Ladies say they have stopped wearing any ornament, even fake one. So much of law and order and sushaashan.

Whether it is Nitish,laloo,paswan,x.y.z politician of Bihar cannot make Bihar a crime free state as they are in gloves with criminals for their political benefit. Only the people of Bihar can ensure a crime free Bihar by getting united and dealing the criminals with an iron hand because the law and order in Bihar only protects the rich, famous, notorious and criminals only - a common person cannot get the police complaint registered.

Let all the people of Bihar irrespective of caste and religion be united and the fight the criminals.

All people of Bihar should take a lesson from the Prakash Jha movie 'Ganga Jal" then only prashashan will wake up.
Dont worry Di,
Kya hua jo kuch log namurad nikal gaye ham sab saath hai na,we will always be together for doing right.Slowly but for sure one day we all will witness a change bihar and a changed bihari bringing proud to nation. And it is duty of people too to come together and oppose any such crime where ever whenever it happens, then only these nuts will be scared of committing any crime.Sorry for using ill words.

Leveraging one wrong over the other! Prostitution, although present in perpetuity can not be the means to check another heinous act, right? A straight thinking person as you are, would like to root out this malaise too. It is no less a crime to a civil society of your dreams, isn't it?

If you are still alive and fine after that many visits to your native land and narrating us such warnings, what is there left to prove!
Wo kahte hain na ki, 'Haath kangan ko aarsi kya, aur padhe-likhe ko pharsi kya'.
Thanks.

On arrival in Patna on my twice yearly visit, my friends repeat the warning to me. Not to enter into argument with any stranger. Who will draw a desi pistol or a knife and use it without any hesitation. I am told that I must keep myself to myself.

I don't know if they are right., and there is any merit in this warning.
I do not think that it is easy to draw a desi pistol or knife and kill someone even in Bihar. Unless one brings, an attitude, an air of arrogance and lots of cash to flash and venture outside alone. But then there are plenty of NRIs not only in India and Bihar and they are no longer considered as rich as they used to be. India and even Bihar has more native Indians who earn good money. But then one cannot be too cautious anywhere. Have you tried New York, more chances of being stabbed or mugged in broad day light than Bihar.

My Delhite friends gave me similar advice when i told them about my plan to come to new delhi. The exact words they used was " Delhi me apne kaam se kaam rakhne ka, waha har kisi baap hai. Faltu me dusro k pange me mat padna"
Few people here suggested ways to punish rapist in many ways varying from Taliban style to others. Sorry but i think those rapist deserves more than that. I think for rapists a separate torture prison should be established, i don't know many torture technique,u ppl can deal about it but one technique is must.

Such rapists should spend their life time with at least 5-10 gays or homos,i believe rest will be taken care of.
I don't think we should let ourselves be discouraged from this particular case,we should not stop talking about development. Incidents like this is not a failure of law and order in the first place. One can only call it failure when culprits are not brought to book. Prevention of such incidents depends on law & order, agreed, but such is a case of breach of personal trust. With due course in time if such culprits are not given a chance to walk Scott free, the much required fear will instill in criminal minded. However, I still believe prevention of such cases depends more upon individual rather than law and order.
Newyork and Harlem?! You are stabbed just for a pair of spikes!
