In Shivpuri, pickpocketing and snatching earings, neckless and chais are rampant day and night, especially near Mamta appartment. Ladies say they have stopped wearing any ornament, even fake one. So much of law and order and sushaashan.
Permalink Reply by Ranjit on November 1, 2010 at 12:54am Whether it is Nitish,laloo,paswan,x.y.z politician of Bihar cannot make Bihar a crime free state as they are in gloves with criminals for their political benefit. Only the people of Bihar can ensure a crime free Bihar by getting united and dealing the criminals with an iron hand because the law and order in Bihar only protects the rich, famous, notorious and criminals only - a common person cannot get the police complaint registered.
Let all the people of Bihar irrespective of caste and religion be united and the fight the criminals.
All people of Bihar should take a lesson from the Prakash Jha movie 'Ganga Jal" then only prashashan will wake up.
Permalink Reply by Ranjit on November 1, 2010 at 1:00am I agree, this kind of crime deserves capital punishment. It breaks my heart to read this kind of soul breaking news.
Dear big bro,
The britishers still call us as the species of 3rd world,i do argue with them in support of our nation. But they r not wrong in calling so,its true we r still 2000 yrs back and can never ever become a civilized man of 1st world. If we come in public and start doing something, tomorrow someone will kill us only because we were opposing wrong thing.and for all those dicks who rapes some one there should be a punishment in public, they should never be given to police,Let the people punish such ass holes not the kanoon(blind). And once public fear is created and if public is with good then no one can dare to do any crime...If some one really want sex then there r prostitutes why rape, what they think of themself, they think no one can stop them.I am sorry for using absurd language but such news shake our mental balance. But i am hopeful one day we all will arise against all such crime together.

On arrival in Patna on my twice yearly visit, my friends repeat the warning to me. Not to enter into argument with any stranger. Who will draw a desi pistol or a knife and use it without any hesitation. I am told that I must keep myself to myself.
I don't know if they are right., and there is any merit in this warning.

Permalink Reply by Mohit on November 1, 2010 at 4:46am I do not think that it is easy to draw a desi pistol or knife and kill someone even in Bihar. Unless one brings, an attitude, an air of arrogance and lots of cash to flash and venture outside alone. But then there are plenty of NRIs not only in India and Bihar and they are no longer considered as rich as they used to be. India and even Bihar has more native Indians who earn good money. But then one cannot be too cautious anywhere. Have you tried New York, more chances of being stabbed or mugged in broad day light than Bihar.
